My Life So Far Jake Aria


Jake T. Aria was born on March 3, 1993 in Santa Clara, CA. He moved to Oakley, CA when he was just 3 years old. Jakes dad is the Student Ministries Pastor at North Creek Church in Walnut Creek, CA; this has been a big influence on his life. Jake likes the quote by C.S. Lewis “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.” Jake has put his faith in action and has taken four mission trips to Mexico to help minister to the needs of children and the elderly.

Jake decided at the age of 12 that he wanted to work in the film industry and made his first short film at twelve. Since then he has made several short films and entered them film festivals. He maintains two websites okmamaproductions.com and jakearia.com. Jake shot a Miley Cyrus video at Disneyland a couple years ago that has over 320,000 views.

 

Jake has worked in local children’s theater with Phyllis Gurnett. Jake has also taken classes and acted at Los Medanos College with Carla Zilber-Smith, Doug Dildine and Nick Garcia. He has attended Los Medanos College since he was 14 years old. Jake recently graduated high school early. His goal is to attend UCLA in the fall 2011 and to further pursue his goal of working in the film industry.
